We run hundreds of tree planting events like this every Earth Month (April) and Plant a Tree Day (September-October). We believe the most effective way to get people to care about the environment and reconnected to Earth is through running volunteer tree planting events that take people outdoors, getting their hands dirty, and restoring their local environment.
There’s truly nothing like planting a tree and returning to see how it’s grown over the years. So sign up for our volunteer events, and get outdoors, planting trees in your local area!
Are there any tree planting events near me?:
Check out the link below and you’ll see a list of our current events. If there are none available right now (we only plant during the perfect time of the year) you can sign up to receive updates from One Tree Planted for when the next round of planting events are announced!

Corporate Events:
We can also run corporate tree planting events for our business partners, specially tailored for your company’s needs. Smaller groups of corporate partners sometimes come out to out community events, but reach out to us and we’ll start to put together what you need to get your staff outdoors and planting trees!

Plant a Tree Day 2020:
From plant a Tree Day 2020, we headed to our Toronto, Canada, event to plant trees with our long term partners at Toronto and Region Conservation Authority.
In cities like Toronto, we think it’s vital to plant trees and create or restore green spaces throughout urban areas. Encouraging people to get outdoors and planting trees in their local communities is central to the work we do at One Tree Planted.
We feel it is so important to help people feel connected to reforestation through volunteering. That is why Plant a Tree Day was started! Trees are vital for so many reasons, and we love getting people outdoors, planting in their local area and restoring their nearby parks and landscapes!
Every year in September we celebrate Plant a Tree Day which is a holiday started by One Tree Planted. We created this day to help create connection between people and the trees in which we are planting. There is no better way for people to feel more connected to their communities than planting trees and watching them grow!
2020 has served many new obstacles. We are thankful that we were still able to provide a safe way for Plant a Tree Day to occur this year. While normally we host over 100 events worldwide, this year we had to reign it in a little. But, we’re glad we were able to help some of you still get your hands in the dirt. Thank you to all of our volunteers and on the ground partners who have helped us planting trees all around the world once again!
Follow One Tree Planted, get planting trees and join the growing movement!

The rate these people plant trees they will restore earth before long and whatβs good is that there are people who donβt want to be parents thatβs a good thing so those native trees grow they will spread and clean air so by the time the pandemic π· is over the air wonβt get as polluted
