Protecting wildlife: Together, we can make a difference
Protecting wildlife: Together, we can make a difference
Learn more about our conservation mission to protect wildlife, both here in New England and around the world. Learn more about the work we do to protect local rare turtles, salamanders and even plants. Through our international conservation initiatives, we partner with organizations doing important work all over the world. From snow leopards in the Himalayas to rare frogs in Panama to the rainforests of Madagascar, each of our international partnerships bring something unique to the table. Yearly funding from Zoo New England supports our local partners’ work, but we also take a more active role in supporting international conservation. Our staff are also personally involved in every international partnership. Whether our partners need conservation biologists, wildlife veterinarians, horticulturalists, outreach and communication specialists, or something else, all of our staff play a role.
As a Zoo New England visitor or member, you are part of our conservation mission. Your admission ticket, membership dues and donation help to support this amazing conservation work both here at home and abroad.
