When you said if you can afford to use gift boxes…. do you eat cost of box/ribbon or should you up cost of products by a little?

  26. @craftlover9702 on September 6, 2024 at 4:42 pm

Great video! I am trying to get the nerve up to do a few craft shows and one of the things that holds me back is the credit card issue. I am in my late sixties and not very good with technology. Any chance you could do a video on the Square reader? I like your teaching style and I think I might be able to grasp how to set it up and use is. I understand if you don’t have the time or don’t wish to but if you could that would be greatly appreciated! Love your gnomes!

God bless you for being so kind and thoughtful! Your experience and advice is extremely helpful! You are so organized, it is very impressive, but you have invested a lot of money in order to have your booth look so professional. I appreciated the fact that you took the time to show us the Amazon pictures of everything you recommended. Do you also have a tent, for outdoor fairs? Thank you again! I pray that God will bless you and your daughter’s efforts, and that your highest expectations be exceeded!

  35. @WomanUnfiltered on September 6, 2024 at 4:53 pm

Great tips for newbies. I love your booth. When i started, I bought 3 of the little 2 pocket aprons from Walmart that cost less than $6 total. I layered and stitched them together, leaving all six pockets accessible. I fill four separate pockets with 1’s, 5’s, 10’s, & 20’s. I put a notepad, calculator & pen in the 5th and my phone in the 6th. I end up with 3 separate ties that i tie in the back for extra security.I’ve since sewn a few for fellow crafters who’ve found them easy to use. I carry what I call my go bag that has things you may need for repairs, clean up or whatever, like scissors, zip ties, baby wipes, jewelry tools & extra jewelry findings, extra business cards, extra ribbon, paper towels, a small medical kit and a lot of other little things I may need. For those starting out and/or flying solo like me, if it’s going to be a long day, pack a lunch, snacks and drinks because food at events if available can eat into your profit. Also you should have a trash bag or container, for not just tour trash or others looking to discard cups and such. Just a few thoughts to add to what you’ve given.

    Awesome video. Thank you.

  44. @janilledutton139 on September 6, 2024 at 5:03 pm

Fantastic tips!! One thing I would suggest is to hang white (or black in your case) table cloths/canapy siding on the outside of your grid walls. Your display is lovely & organized, yet grid walls are visually busy. Adding a same-colored backdrop makes their visual noise disappear & helps customers focus on your products.

Also, I understand/respect your idea to bring in customers with fragrance. However, more and more people are becoming allergic or sensitive to chemicals. That does include essential oils. I work in an art market, and I can not tell you how many customers "suddenly" can’t breathe or start coughing or sneezing by the candle/soap displays. 😉 So, prepackaging is genius on your part!

Thank you for the great ideas!!🫶
