It broke my heart when you said you were your biggest enemy, And when you called yourself stupid. Words hold great power, especially ones about yourself. I struggled and still struggle with this. We all need a reminder sometimes, to treat ourselves with more kindness and compassion. I see you spreading love, now it’s time you start catching it.

Forestry Forest if you ever in Abbotsford BC on Whatcom rd. I live at the park and ride in front of Tim Hortons. I drive a 2019 Hyundai. Stop by if you like for a bit. I’m a big fan and Iv only mist maybe 1 or 2 epic adventures. But I have a 12 year old chiwawa with nice colors like Rocko.

As a Saskatchewan plains kid, Every summer I go to BC and try to make 3-4 summits a year within a month. These videos are what I love to see during the winter.

The Rocko avalanche was so funny 🤣this is an amazing video! I just stumbled across your channel and cannot wait to see the other videos you have 🙂 I’m from Colorado and would love to venture out to other Rocky Mountain states/regions. Never been to BC and would love to visit sometime soon. I’m really surprised by how little activity goes on out there.

You must of found a Gold seam by now. A french man told me here pay for 2 houses in Vancouver from finding gold around Hope. He was lying I think. But he did have 2 gold detectors. I seen them. So maybe true.

For now , I’m injured and not able to hike in the mountains so I have to watch others do it❤
For all you hikers I can recommend the norwegian dog breed ”Lundehunden ”
”Lunde ”dog , it’s a breed almost extinct. The breed is made for hiking , especially in mountains because it has six toes on a foot and ears it can turn inwards in case of snow or strong Winds
Its also very very flexible , a perfect friend to bring to nature
I don’t have one myself but I wish I did

강아지도 넘 귀엽고 영상도 너무 좋았어요~
같은 백패커 입장에서 저렇게 멋진 자연경관에서 비박할수 있는것이 부럽네요~

Crazy video. Seem quite dangerous knowing you are in bear cpuntry though. Be careful, look after your dog and keep making cool hiking video

  21. @benjaminsmithson1236 on September 6, 2024 at 4:38 pm

Nice video, but low-key rocko was in a sketchy situation with that avalanche

  22. @thelittledancingwolf863 on September 6, 2024 at 4:39 pm

This is AWESOME! growing up in the Rocky Mountains, i had a West Highland White Terrier who i would bring with me on all my adventures. People were always surprised when he’d hike 14ers with me because usually people expect to see a big dog on the trail! Little dogs are so underrated with their ability and joy in being the perfectly sized adventure dog. Thank you for this video… it reminds me of all the times i had with my little adventure terrier ❤

  23. @tacticalsweater5119 on September 6, 2024 at 4:39 pm

I wouldn’t be out there without an AR-15. This man is insane.

  29. @strangerous1313 on September 6, 2024 at 4:46 pm

I gotta say, you need to move your mouth and lips when you talk. Several times it appears your are poorly lip-syncing in post production. Very annoying.

  30. @Fivetogoable on September 6, 2024 at 4:46 pm

Great video.. absolutely stunning scenery. All the best to you and Rocko!

  31. @Brisk317 on September 6, 2024 at 4:47 pm

8:02 Yep…when I see that I’d turn around and go home.

  32. @user-zo8ck6kg1n on September 6, 2024 at 4:50 pm

How does your dog do in the woods? My beagle has a habit of running after wildlife. Typically that’s fine, but when he runs a deer, it can be an issue.

  33. @pawel8365 on September 6, 2024 at 4:50 pm

Amazing video, giving me inspiration for summer in Sweden 🙂

  34. @xAlphaSpiderx on September 6, 2024 at 4:51 pm

What hiking boots do you recommend?

  35. @lucdamiani on September 6, 2024 at 4:56 pm

Fun fact: When you google Mt. Findlay Foresty Forest’s pictures are the main result!

  36. @Juanny2023 on September 6, 2024 at 4:56 pm

How am i just now finding this channel. This is what i want when i wanna see outdoors videos. Not people trying to sell me shit.

  37. @EverydayFeel on September 6, 2024 at 4:57 pm

Absolutely love the tranquility of this hike! Your video really captures the beauty and essence of being in nature. I recently did a hike in Northern Minnesota and was blown away by the peacefulness and beauty of the trails there. I’ve been uploading my own hiking videos to share the beauty of nature as well. There’s something truly magical about immersing oneself in the outdoors. Thanks for sharing this incredible journey!

I’m so concerned about my boy getting around a corner or a bear or cougar getting to him before I can react. It’s a real fear of mying. Do you have any reassurance or even some pointers.

Hey man, great video. I appreciate you taking us on this journey. Such amazing views and the scenery is spectacular! I jumped on google maps to see exactly where Findlay was in BC and it only had two photos… One was your dog and the other you and your dog lol. I wonder why no on else has ever submitted one?
